Stage's debut novel sets the bar insanely high.
Hannah is 7, she's a perfect little angel when her dad is around. When it's just she and her mom, well that's a whole other story.
This book has two POVs, Hannah, and her mom, Suzette, and the chapters switch between them. I found it very interesting and enjoyable to get both points of view. The author has done this seamlessly.
I could talk about this book extensively, but don't want to give any spoilers away.
This is a very well put together and phenomenally creepy, disturbing tale, that you won't want to put down.
This is the first book by Zoje Stage that I've read, and I'm definitely going back for more.
