There’s an airborne virus that is spreading in Hong Kong. It's got a very high mortality rate.
This story is told from multiple points of view.
Eric and Trish live in Seattle where the virus rears its ugly head.
Li, Abbie, and Tim, live in San Francisco. Li contracts the virus and succumbs to it quickly.
Where can the survivors go to find refuge from the virus? Is anywhere safe?
I was nervous about the length of the novella. How good will it actually be, with so few pages? The short answer is, very good!
I really enjoyed this story, from start to finish. The characters are believable and feel really fleshed out. I’m looking forward to reading the next installment in the series.
This is also the first book I’ve read by D.J. Austin.
